Hahn takes on Bisbell magnetic storage distribution

Hahn Trading Company has been awarded the exclusive distribution rights in the UK and Ireland to Bisbell magnetic knife storage products.


Bisbell has been producing magnetic knife storage products since 1971, and now manufactures for some of the world's top knife suppliers as well as having its own brand of Bisbell and Bisbell Magmates.

Both companies identified the tie-up as a natural synergy as Hahn continues to expand and diversify into all areas of classically-designed kitchen storage.

The distribution rights of Bisbell by Hahn will come into effect from June 1 2012, and cover both the Professional Bisichef and domestic Bisigrip ranges of magnetic knife rails plus the Magmates range of coloured silicone magnetic knife rails, knife guards and knife pods. New products are lined up for the next 12 months.

Hahn has eight sales agents based across the UK and Ireland who will be representing the Bisbell products.

Commenting on the new association, Hahn managing director Carl Saunders said: "We really like and believe in the Bisbell product and we felt that as we expand our storage solution ranges, Bisbell would fit very neatly within the Hahn product portfolio."

Hahn will have a full showing of Bisbell products and a new in-store display unit for the Magmates range at next month's Exclusively Housewares show.
