The new series of cookery show ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ kicks off on BBC One at 8pm on Wednesday (June 22).
Twenty famous people will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Pussycat Dolls singer and dancer Kimberley Wyatt, by impressing judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace in series 11.
Tasks include working in a professional kitchen with paying guests and the relay challenge. Those who impress enough to make it to semi-final week must cook a lavish five-course dinner for the Chelsea Pensioners to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
There will be 12 programmes over six weeks, before the 2016 champ is crowned. The contestants are a host of stars from the worlds of acting, sport and showbusiness.
