Called Credence, the initiative offers both interim as well as project-based consultancy.

“I’ve decided that it’s now the right time to utilise the experience and contacts I’ve gained during my career to offer a solution to many of the day-to-day problems that are faced in business today,” Vaughan said.

“Whether for an interim need, or a specific project role, the benefit of working with Credence rather than having an inflexible fixed cost is that businesses can grow and develop without placing an undue financial burden on them.”

He continued: “I’m already working with my first client where I’m helping their sales operation in an interim role. I’m also having discussions with several other parties as to how Credence can help develop their businesses.”

Andy Vaughan can be contacted on andy@credence.biz or by telephone on 0771 890 5674.

Vaughan announced his departure from BHETA last month. He joined the trade association in 2005 as commercial director, and was latterly DIY and brush sector director.
