Aqua Optima launches Perfect Pour collection

Leading water dispenser and filtration specialist Aqua Optima has launched the easy fill Perfect Pour collection, a range of two water filter jugs and an 8-litre fridge-friendly water dispenser.

The Perfect Pour collection has been developed using consumer insight and feedback, with 80% of those surveyed expressing a desire for a water filter jug that is easier to fill and pour from.

Central to the design of the Perfect Pour jugs is an easy-fill sliding fill lid, situated at the front to allow quick and easy top up.

The Perfect Pour jugs dispense at less of an angle than traditional water filter jugs, delivering a consistent flow with no glug or drip. Aqua Optima has also added an ergonomic handle which aids the smooth pour and prevents wrist strain.

In designing the Perfect Pour, Aqua Optima wanted to create a range that looks good on the table and the result is a sleek modern design with two colour options – Blue and Teal. Both the jugs and the dispenser fit in most UK fridges, and the entire range is dishwasher safe.

The water dispenser, which will be available in Spring 2023, features a built-in elevated stand to allow it to be used on counter tops, a sliding front fill lid which eliminates splashing when filling and the need for carrying, plus a nested jug which also simplifies refilling. It also includes dual filters for ultra-fast filtering.

The Perfect Pour jugs and dispenser are all fitted with Aqua Optima’s ultra-fast Evolve+ filter. Evolve+ boasts a unique five-step filtration system which removes impurities from tap water including microplastics, herbicides, pesticides, lead, and heavy metals – up to three times faster than the leading brand.

The BPA-free filter reduces high levels of limescale and chlorine in water, which not only improves the taste and aroma of drinks but also extends the life of appliances such as kettles and coffee machines.

Aqua Optima’s Evolve+ filters, which are also compatible with many other water jug brands, are 100% recyclable as part of its partnership with TerraCycle – simply drop the used filters at a TerraCycle drop-off point near you. Once sent to TerraCycle, the filters are cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remoulded to make new recycled products.

As part of Aqua Optima’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing, the Perfect Pour collection is the first of its products to be manufactured in a new solar-powered factory.

Laverne Eldridge, head of category & sourced goods at Aqua Optima, said: “We listened carefully to our consumers in order to develop Perfect Pour and introduce some real innovation into the water filter jugs and dispenser market. This collection answers consumer demand for an easier fill and pour and it is really elegant and compact, which means it looks right at home on the dinner table.”
