Argos’ Spring/Summer range is now available in-store, online or on the Argos app. From tech to toys, homeware to pet care, the collection features an array of brand new products including brands such as Dyson, Samsung, Pulsin, Petkit, Lego and Apple.
For homeware, the multi-channel retailer said: “This year sees the introduction of Global Monochrome and Stockholm Spring trends, with updates in Everyday Luxury adding in new furniture and accessories.’
Andrew Tanner, design manager at Argos Home, commented: “Our trend-led range of furniture and home accessories has been intricately designed in-house and the teams have continued to explore trends around the globe, drawing inspiration from different designs, which have shaped the range.
“Global Monochrome has an exciting blend patterned textiles and motifs, whereas Stockholm Spring offers a subtle sense of Scandinavian simplicity. Everyday Luxury creates a calming ambience, making use of a delicately sophisticated palette, and Coastline is a comforting blend of light and airy pieces.”
Global Monochrome is described as an ‘eclectic collection’ that ‘takes inspiration from around the world and brings together mark-making patterns, crackle glaze ceramics and earthy woods to create a relaxed aesthetic. In the dining room, the predominant monochrome palette is layered with rich tan and rustic oak tones as seen with the Nomad Table and Chairs (£249.99)’.
For Stockholm Spring, Argos said: ‘Integrate Scandinavian style in the home with the Stockholm Spring collection. In the dining room, the Harlow Table and Bench Set (£179.99) is mixed with modest patterns inspired by soft Scandinavian geometrics, and in the office a fresh clean look offers a relaxing ambience. The sturdy Novara bed (£299), with its solid ash finish, works well with printed linen. With soothing hues of green and grey, hints of mustard, and exciting shades of coral, this collection creates an understated and simple comfort.’
The Everyday Luxury collection ‘adds a touch of class to the home. Statement pieces of furniture in the living room, like the Pink Valerie Button Back Sofa (£799.99) create comfort and a sense of timelessness with its pale and chalky hues. The Woodbury Table (£399.99) and Bench Set (£99.99) is perfect when creating a stylish dining room, and the bedroom has been carefully designed with a crisp aesthetic approach in mind but also offers a delicate warmth’.
Coastline is designed to create ‘a calm and relaxing mood, evoking a cool, contemporary style with a nod to the English seaside. In the bedroom, solid oak woods fashion an uncluttered interior, which continues into the dining room where the Farmhouse Bench (£159.99) and Table (£249.99) creates an informal eating space. In the living room, the relaxed Dune Three Seater Sofa (£399.99) in a cooling grey tone offers a composed and soothing look. Pallid blue accessories mixed with crisp white hues add to the airy feel with its enduring palette’.
