Bamix of Switzerland will commemorate 60 years of production in 2014.
Distributed in the UK by Proven Products, the product is precision-made 100% in Switzerland. It is billed as the smallest hand-held food processor, with a motor working at speeds of up to 22000rpm.
“Bamix has changed very little in the 60 years since it was first manufactured in 1954,” said Alyson Gilbert of Proven Products. “We believe the quality and uniqueness of Bamix is what has led it to stand the test of time.”
Bami is now sold throughout the world in major retail markets including Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada, UK and France.
To mark the 60th anniversary, Proven Products will introduce a new Bamix model called the Classic, which features soft grip control, a chromated cutter guard and sealed unit, and comes in a variety of vibrant and traditional colours.
The company is also running a competition to win a holiday to Switzerland.
