BBC Two’s ‘I’ll Get This’ returns for a second helping

BBC Two’s game of dinner party jeopardy is set to return for a second series with a new group of celebrity diners.

As before, ‘I’ll Get This’ features five famous faces who meet at a restaurant and reluctantly surrender their credit cards. They play a series of funny and revealing games with the loser of the games having to pick up the bill for everyone, making it an expensive night for one of the guests.

In series one, viewers saw an eclectic mix of personalities meet round the dining table including Richard Madeley, Rachel Johnson, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Griff Rhys Jones and Harry Redknapp. This new series sees another group of household names take on the challenge, and run the risk of footing the bill for their fellow diners.

BBC controller of entertainment commissioning Kate Phillips said: “’I’ll Get This’ is a refreshing new take on the panel show format and I‘m looking forward to even more helpings of our dinner party with a twist.”

The six-part series of 30-minute episodes, including a Christmas Special, will air on BBC Two at Christmas and in 2020.
