Beam Group has been appointed as the exclusive distribution partner for Bissell UK & Eire.
Bissell is a US family owned company that has been creating floorcare cleaning products for 139 years. It offers vacuums, carpet sweepers, carpet deep cleaners and hard floor cleaners, along with a full line of cleaning formulas.
Bissell International managing director Bart de Vos commented: “The UK continues to be a key market for our brand and we remain fully committed to providing our retailers and their customers with the latest products and technology. We are excited to work alongside Beam, utilising their expertise and vision to drive our presence in the UK market.”
Beam Group general manager Matt Innes said “Bissell’s new product development roadmap, combined with our specialist premium brand management and marketing and distribution ability, makes this an exciting partnership for both parties.
He added: “Further investment in warehouse capacity, showroom/training space and personnel – in sales, marketing and logistics – will further strengthen the Beam business and our ability to support our portfolio.”
Following a short transition period, Beam will take full control of supply to Bissell’s existing retail partners and the Bissell Direct platform.
