Bents Garden & Home opens new look Cook Shop

Measuring 3,300sq ft, the department opened in mid-November and is situated next door to the new 9,000sq ft Food Hall. It provides a wide range of housewares with key product categories including china, glass, electricals, kitchenware and household cleaning gadgets. Key suppliers include Kitchen Craft, Le Creuset, Joseph Joseph, Brabantia, Denby, LSA, Portmerion, Kenwood, Morphy Richards and OXO Good Grips.

A spokesperson told www.HousewaresLive.net: “Bents has had a popular Cook Shop for several years, and during the planning stages for our new development, it was identified as a key area for growth – and one which would benefit from its own purpose built department. Located next to the Food Hall, it combines all the ingredients for catering and cooking, dining and entertainment.”

A central feature of the new Cook Shop is a fully working kitchen supplied and fitted by local kitchen company Tapefox, which will provide a centrepiece for demonstrations and showcasing working examples of new products. Demos are planned to start in the new year.
