Brabantia has introduced a new knife block to complement its line-up of kitchen knives.

The block, which stores Brabantia’s five-piece knife set including the sharpening steel, is made from sustainably-sourced ash, and boasts a contemporary design with vertical side slots, each dedicated to a specific item.
The space-efficient block is also mounted on a stainless steel base that rotates it smoothly to ensure the right knife falls readily to hand and is easy to remove.
For added safety, a rim around the edge prevents knives from sliding out accidentally, and the base sits on non-slip feet for stability. The stainless steel foot is also extendable for cleaning.
The knife set comprises chef’s, bread, meat and fruit/utility knives plus sharpening steel. Blades are made from high carbon molybdenum vanadium steel, while the grips are made of matt brushed steel and solid black plastic.
