Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net are delighted to announce that industry veteran Bruce Crane will speak at The Housewares Conference 2015.

Hosted by BHETA home enhancement executive director Will Jones, The Housewares Conference 2015 is designed to provide members of the housewares industry with ideas and inspiration, in an environment of shared experience and learning.
Now in its sixth year, the event – which is organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive,.net – will be held on April 22 at Wokefield Park near Reading in Berkshire.
The theme of the 2015 event is ‘Innovation’ and we have specifically selected speakers for their knowledge and experience of the housewares industry, who can share their success stories, practical solutions and winning strategies with delegates.
Over the past 30 years, Bruce has accumulated a wealth of experience in both the retail and distribution sectors. Bruce has spent time overseas, and his career highlights includes 10 years at Woolworths and three years with housewares distributor ICTC, with the remainder of his time spent running award-winning cookshop Loose’s in Norwich with his wife Claire-Louise. In 2012 Bruce set up a new distribution business, TICCuk Ltd, which he continues to run alongside the cookshop.
He joins a prestigious line-up of speakers which, to date, includes design guru Sebastian Conran; Jeffrey Siegel, ceo of Lifetime Brands, Inc. (which acquired housewares suppliers La Cafetiere last March, Kitchen Craft last January and Creative Tops in 2011); Shanker Patel, ceo of housewares chain Lords of Notting Hill; retail consultant Guy Cattell, formerly category buying director for Morrisons across home and leisure; Tom Gill of Creative Media Solutions, a digital media company that specialises in housewares clients; Carol Paris, a garden centre specialist who is director general of the HTA (Horticultural Trades Association) and artisan homeware designer Julie Dodsworth. Celebrity chef Ken Hom has also agreed to attend the event.
