Channel 4 commissions 'Daily Brunch with Ocado' show

The 40 x 60 minute series, called ‘Daily Brunch with Ocado’, is a weekday extension of Channel 4’s Sunday morning flagship show ‘Sunday Brunch’. The show launches next Monday (October 13) at 10am and will be hosted by ‘Sunday Brunch’ presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

Channel 4 said it aims to deliver ‘an extra slice of ‘Sunday Brunch’ served up daily; a hearty mixture of delicious recipes, the very best celebrity guests and regular items that ‘Sunday Brunch’ viewers have come to know and love’.

Ocado director of retail & marketing Lawrence Hene said: “We’re passionate about food at Ocado but cooking should be fun, and we hope that mixing delicious recipes with Tim and Simon’s legendary charm will inspire viewers to try something new in the kitchen.”

Dom Bird, Head of Formats, Channel 4 said: “We look forward to welcoming Tim and Simon onto Channel 4 from Monday to Friday, to give current fans and a whole new audience a weekday serving of ‘Daily Brunch with Ocado’.”

The programme is produced by Princess Productions and will feature a selection of familiar Sunday faces.
Princess Productions managing director Emma Hardy said: “We’re thrilled to be extending the ‘Sunday Brunch’ brand for a daily audience and delighted to be working alongside Ocado and Channel 4.”
