Last month’s International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago enjoyed double-digit increases in both exhibitor participation and buyer attendance.

Organiser the International Housewares Association said the show’s performance was likely to reflect an improving economy in the US, with a number of exhibitors reporting better than normal activity.
The show hosted 1,960 exhibitors, a 13% increase over 2009, and including 550 new companies. Buyer participation increased 10.5%, including a 20.7% increase in international visitors.
Next year’s International Home + Housewares Show will be held from March 6 to 8 in Chicago.
