Creative Tops has become the latest sponsor of Britain’s Best Retailer Awards – in a brand new category.
As Clare Farthing of Creative Tops explains, the company is backing the award for Britain’s Best Independent Department Store because it is a retail sector about which it feels passionately.
“We’re incredibly excited about sponsoring this category,” she told HousewaresLive.net. “This particular sector is incredibly competitive, and as manufacturers we know the pressures that these stores are under on a daily basis.
“What I think will single out the winners from the losers are those department stores who in the current economic climate can play on some really strong areas of specialisation, differentiation and find profitable, defendable and sustainable niches.”
