Dexam raises over £600 for Comic Relief

Earlier on this year, Dexam launched its “paint the kitchen red” campaign for Red Nose Day; for every order of a red item placed in March it would donate 5% of the trade price to Comic Relief.

The company’s Dexam Trust would also match the total funds raised, which totalled £628 of which it donated to Comic Relief.

Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s Managing Director, said: “We know that when people come together, great things can happen. We are so grateful to our retailers for taking part in this campaign. The money we’ve raised will help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict and climate change.”

Items included in the campaign ranged from kitchen textiles to kitchen accessories, tools and gadgets such as weighing scales, egg timers and cookie cutters. Dexam’s Chasseur French cast iron cookware in the famous Chilli Red was also included.
