Double win for Borough Kitchen in The Housewares Innovation Awards

London retailer Borough Kitchen is in jubilant spirits after scooping two gongs in The Housewares Innovation Awards 2017.

Organised by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine in collaboration with the Spring Fair, the event took place on Monday night (February 6) at The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

A total of 21 awards were presented and Borough Kitchen were lucky enough to collect two prizes for  Britain’s Best Independent Cookshop and Britain’s Best Rising Star.

Borough Kitchen operates three stores in Borough Market (at 16 Borough High St, London SE1), Hampstead (1 Hampstead High St, London NW3) and Chiswick (186 Chiswick High Road, London W4)

The retailer claims to ‘cater to the urban at-home chef, to provide everything that’s needed for entertaining, from the kitchen to the table’.

Borough Kitchen opened in 2013 within Borough Market, London’s most renowned food market. In May 2015, it opened a second location at 1 Hampstead High Street, followed by the relaunch of its online shop www.boroughkitchen.com. In April 2016, it opened a new location in Chiswick, in the heart of an area rich with foodie businesses and residents.

Commenting on the news, Borough Kitchen Founders Justin Kowbel and David Caldana told www.HousewaresLive.net: “We’re extremely excited to be recognised by our peers.

“We’ve already prominently popped our trophies up in our Hampstead store window and will make sure they do the rounds to be displayed in both Borough Market and Chiswick as well.”
