Eclectic Housewares set to run Artisan Markets

The duo will operate 22 markets throughout the north-west borough, in Ramsbottom, Prestwich, Radcliffe and Whitefield, and will be responsible for working with traders and attracting shoppers.

The markets form part of a council initiative to actively promote the town centres by encouraging local visitor spend.

Sara said: “We want to make the whole shopping experience really pleasurable and put people in touch with excellent traders and produce.

“We will encourage local businesses to take stalls at our markets and want to promote the best of our quality local independent businesses throughout the whole of the Borough.”

Sara has run Eclectic Housewares since 2007. She has traded at Ramsbottom Market for the past 12 months, selling over 100 varieties of herbs and spices.

The first of the Bury Artisan markets will take place in Ramsbottom this Sunday.
