Emma Bridgwater supports The Royal British Legion

Ceramics company Emma Bridgewater is supporting The Royal British Legion with the release of the Poppy half-pint mug.

Each mug is decorated in the Emma Bridgewater factory at Stoke-On-Trent in Staffordshire, with the sponge design applied by hand.

The Royal British Legion is a charity that provides financial, social and emotional support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants.

Emma Bridgewater said: “We are immensely proud to produce a special poppy design for The Royal British Legion. The design is inspired by an archived pattern, and remains a personal favourite.

“From the sale of each mug, we will make a £5 contribution to The Royal British Legion to help with the Legion’s vital work caring for injured servicemen. We are so pleased and proud to have this opportunity to show our deep appreciation for our armed services.”

The mug will be available from September 2 (priced at £19.95) at Emma Bridgewater shops and emmabridgewater.co.uk.
