Smalll appliances distributor EPE Group has invested in its sales team, which consists of 10 directly employed staff covering the UK.
EPE’s Group’s investment, sales and marketing director Harry Singh said: “As the UK’s leading distributor of branded premium small domestic appliances, we have invested in our sales team to ensure that we have experience professionals working across the country. The sales team is the customer’s first point of call with EPE Group and this high level of representation across the UK is key at a time when many manufacturers and distributors have cut back on their sales resource.”
He added: “In the current economic climate, sales of branded premium small domestic appliances are holding their own, with consumers opting to buy premium established branded products. EPE Group has a track record of working with independents and we are looking to build on this.”
The company has also announced a ‘significant investment’ in a new IT system. Harry Singh said: “This state-of-the-art system will make EPE Group even more efficient. The investment comes at a time where business at the EPE Group is showing strong growth.”
EPE Group, which operates from a 50,000sq ft warehouse in West Yorkshire, is the exclusive UK distributor for a number of brands including Kenwood, De’Longhi, Kärcher and Philips. The company also distributes brands including Bosch, Panasonic, and Tefal, along with a number of managed brands including Ascaso, Bugatti Italy and Graef Starbucks Verismo.
