Exclusively Housewares 2013 is a sell-out

The organiser of Exclusively Housewares says that for the second year running it has been able to publish its full exhibitor list for the following year, four months after its last show closed.

Exclusively Housewares 2013 is a sell-out

Show director Simon Boyd, of Brooke House Exhibitions, described the achievement as “no mean feat in the current market conditions”.

New exhibitors for 2013 are Anniversary House, Gers Equipement, Gimi, Harris Victory, Make International, Reidal/ Spiegelau, Rosti Housewares, Tontarelli, Vitamix and Whitbread Wilkinson.

In addition, 2013 will see Kenwood taking a stand in its own right, and a return to the show by Bamix of Switzerland, Horwood Homewares and Paladone Products.

The 2013 show theme, Design, Colour And Function For The Home, plus a new show logo, are designed to reflect the diversity of styles, materials and thinking that housewares suppliers put into their product offering.

“Our exhibitors bring flair, originality and a clear understanding of what the great British public want in their kitchens and dining rooms to the show,” said Boyd. “They’re trendsetters in terms of colours and style, and the show is a great place to see what is, and what will be, happening in the heart of the home in the coming months.”

Now in its twelfth year, Exclusively Housewares says it continues to update its list of invited buyers and the sales channels they represent to match.

“Our close relationship to the housewares members of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association is vital to the show,” says Boyd. “They help to keep us up to date with how, where, and by whom, their products are being sold, which in turn helps us to understand the sort of product mix the show needs to stay relevant to the market.

“For example, the number of housewares products that are also regarded as practical, good-looking gifts is on the increase, so we’ve identified key top-end gift retailers who are already, or might wish to, increase their business and profit by including housewares in their product mix.”

Exclusively Housewares 2013 will take place at London’s Business Design Centre, June 11 to 12.
