Expanding Interior Lifestyle China to change dates and venue

The continuing expansion of Interior Lifestyle China will see the 2013 show have a new timing in the calendar and a new venue.

Expanding Interior Lifestyle China to change dates and venue

This year’s show is on now at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre. Next year it will take place September 25-27 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

The international trade fair for household products and accessories was established in 2007 and is, says organiser Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai), the only trade fair serving middle and high-end household products in China.

Commenting on the changes, Evan Sha, general manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) said: “During the past six years, the number of overseas exhibitors and brands participating in the show has increased from less than 30% in the first edition to more than 70% in 2012. This growth reflects the huge potential of the Chinese retail market for lifestyle products and high-end consumer goods, and is one of the reasons Interior Lifestyle China continues to attract key international brands.”

The new venue has the facilities to meet the ongoing needs of the fast-growing show – the current event is the largest ever, hosting 248 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions. The change of date also allows Interior Lifestyle China to be held concurrently with Paperworld China, a major consumer goods show for the stationery industry.
