Garden Buyers Power List results revealed today

Some of the most talented and influential buyers in the garden industry will be celebrated today (Tuesday September 11) at a special event.

The Glee Buyers Power List 2017 ceremony will take place between 12pm and 1pm at garden retail show Glee, which opened on Monday (September 11) at the NEC in Birmingham and runs until Wednesday (September 13).

Each year Glee attracts thousands of buyers from garden centres, builders merchants, multiple retailers, and DIY stores. They visit to view new products across the categories of home, gift, outdoor entertaining, clothing and pets, as well as garden care, landscaping and garden design and plants.

The Buyers Power List was set-up to recognise individual buyers and buying teams who have gone above and beyond to make a difference within the garden retail industry.

Voting has been open since early summer, and the shortlist is representative of the leading 25-plus buyers and buying teams across the country. A ‘winner of winners’ will also be announced at the ceremony.

Glee event director Matthew Mein said: “The Buyers Power List has become an integral part of Glee, and the results of this year’s awards are highly anticipated.

“The shortlist showcases the hard work and commitment that each retail buyer or team has undertaken in the last 12 months, and we’re so pleased to be able to provide a platform on which this dedication can be celebrated and rewarded. I look forward to revealing the winners.”
