The new Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards event is attracting not only the top retailer names from the traditional housewares industry – well-known garden centre retailers are signing up to be there too.
As retail categories, kitchenware and tabletop are becoming increasingly attractive to garden centre businesses, and The Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards event provides them with a unique opportunity to gain fresh insights into the market.
The influential Garden Centre Group, which runs almost 130 garden centres, was amongst the first of the garden centre retailers to confirm its attendance. Other well-known names from that industry to have signed up include Devon’s Fermoy’s Garden Centre, the Barton Grange Group and, more recently, Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester.
The garden centres sit alongside a fast-growing list of multiple, department store, online and cookshop retailers that will also be in the audience. Amongst the latest confirmations are Bentalls, The Billericay Cookshop and Cookmate – Worcester, which will join the likes of Beales, Selfridges, Wilkinsons, Dinghams, Abraxas, Kitchenmonger, and many more.
The event, which takes place on March 27 2012 at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire, will combine an inspirational line-up of speakers for the day’s conference element with the presentation of the new Housewares Innovation Awards.
