The Giftware Association (GA) announced the winners of its Gift of the Year competition on Sunday (February 5).
At an evening ceremony held at the NEC in Birmingham during the Spring Fair. GA chief executive Sarah Ward opened proceedings with a speech reflecting on the history of giving of gifts and applauding the creative minds that have made the contest grow to 1,098 entries in 2017 compared with 759 in 2016.
She said: “We’re here to celebrate and recognize the achievements of the men and women responsible for the amazing array of products entered for prizes this year. This ceremony is a fitting climax to a competition that not only attracted a record number of entries, but to designers and suppliers for setting the bar at a new high.”
