Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
The organisers of the US Gourmet Housewares Show have made yet another change to the timing of the event.
Last year, GLM announced that the show would move from San Francisco to New York as of 2011, when it would be held from January 30 to February 3.
Now, the date has been moved again, and next year’s show will take place within the New York International Gift Fair from August 14 to18. The venue remains the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York.
GLM says it has made the change following a recent retailer survey that showed a preference for a third-quarter show.
The 2011 event should attract around 150 gourmet housewares exhibitors, while the co-located New York International Gift Fair will offer 200 tabletop suppliers within its Tabletop & Housewares sector.
