Gourmet Housewares Show returns to San Francisco

The US Gourmet Housewares Show is changing its location and dates as of next year.
After a four-year stint in Las Vegas and Orlando the event is returning to San Francisco, where it first launched in 1977.

The show is also moving to a summer timeslot, allowing suppliers to preview 2010 collections. Dates for 2009 are August 8 to 10.

The show will be held in the North Hall of the Moscone Convention Center, and will run alongside the summer edition of the San Francisco International Gift Fair in the South Hall Esplanade, from August 8 to 11.

There are expected to be around 400 exhibitors at the Gourmet Housewares Show, which focuses on up-market cookware, cutlery, bakeware, small appliances, tools and gadgets, tabletop, kitchen textiles and speciality foods.
