Groupe SEB UK has promoted Will Yates to the role of commercial director of its three ‘power brands’: Tefal, KRUPS and Rowenta.
The housewares supplier said: ‘Will joined Groupe SEB in January 2016 as sales director and during his tenure the business has successfully launched a number of high profile new innovative products, which have resulted in significant sales growth. He has a real passion for ‘change’ through his leadership and strategic skills and the ability to stimulate sales in mature markets.’
His previous positions include sales revenue controller (Northern Europe) of Mondelēz International and field sales director of Mondelēz International: the American multinational confectionery, food and beverage company.
He will now be responsible for developing the commercial strategy within the UK & Ireland business with a core focus on communicating the USPs [Unique Selling Points] of the brands.
Will Yates will continue to report to Richard Joaristi, general Manager of Groupe SEB UK.
