Habitat’s Bromley store is the latest to be closed as the retailer tries to work its way back into black.

The company, which suffered pre-tax losses of £10.9m in its year to March 2007, says it will continue to review its estate. It has closed outlets in Southampton, Bluewater, Tunbridge Wells and Batley, and last month its London stores in Hammersmith and on Kensington High Street joined the list.
However, Habitat will have a presence in the new Westfield London shopping centre which opens at the end of this month and has opened several new-format stores.
