The team at T&G has always taken fun seriously and now it’s paid off – the company has triumphed in the National Wear a Tea Cosy on Your Head Day Mug Shots competition!
Members of staff donned a selection of the company’s own brew warmers for the day, September 22, and entered a photo of themselves thus adorned for the contest, organised by fashion chain White Stuff.
White Stuff says it was “overwhelmed with entries” – the purpose of which was to raise funds for charity – and so decided not only to pick one winner but also two runners-up. As one of the latter, the plucky T&G team has won £100-worth of vouchers, and the photo has now been uploaded onto the White Stuff website.
(And just in case you’re wondering, the winner was one Rollie the cat, modelling a fetching little hand-knitted number.);
