Home & Gift reveals speaker line-up

Clarion Events, the organiser of the upcoming Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival, has revealed its ‘most inspiring speaker line-up to date’.

The show, which will take place from July 14 to July 17 across the Harrogate Convention Centre and the grounds of the Majestic Hotel in the North Yorkshire spa town, includes ‘ShopTalk’: a seminar programme which comprises a roster of keynote speakers, masterclasses, hands-on clinics and panel discussions.

Show director Louise Morris said: “This year we’ve definitely upped the inspiration factor in our ShopTalk line-up, so I’d implore all visitors to make some time to sit in on a session or two – after all, the show is as much about enhancing the retail industry through shared learnings as it is about great buying opportunities. Whether you’re an independent store or a seasoned department store buyer, everyone can learn something from our programme.”

The line-up includes:

Piers Linney (Sunday July 14)
Clarion Events said: ‘With digital changing the face of retail, technology entrepreneur and former ‘Dragon’s Den’ investor Piers Linney will share his ‘e-commerce hacks for future-proofing your business; inspiring customer loyalty and finding ways to integrate the opportunities of digital whilst holding on to your bricks-and-mortar dream’.
