Home Hardware (Scotland) reveals prize draw winner

Maughans of Whitley Bay has won a prize draw for members of Home Hardware (Scotland).

Members who attended the buying and marketing group’s annual Members’ Open Day on November 30, at its distribution centre in the North Ayrshire town of Ardrossan, were entered into the draw. The prize is £500 credit off the winner’s next order.

Maughans of Whitley Bay proprietors Michael and Catherine Maughan regularly attend the Members Meetings, even though it is nearly a 400 mile round trip. The meetings are held five times a year.

Due to the draw’s popularity, it will be carried over to the 2017 Members Meetings. Each time a member attends a meeting they will be entered into the draw, which will take place at the end of the year.

Home Hardware (Scotland) general manager Chris McEwan said: “We understand that it’s not always easy to get away from the shop floor, especially during the busy holiday periods. Therefore, we see this as a way to say thank you to all our members who make the time to come along to the Members Meetings.”

Home Hardware (Scotland) Ltd has over 60 independent member shops throughout Scotland and the north of England. The retailers vary from hardware and housewares specialists to cookshops, ironmongers and garden centres.
