The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) has added another two members to its housewares sector. This brings the total of new housewares recruits in 2012 to 20 companies. The latest companies to join are Proven Products and W2 Products.
Proven Products (Bamix) is a Nottingham-based distributor and manufacturer of household products. These include brands Bamix of Switzerland, Woll Cookware and its own Super juicer juice extractor.
The other new member to join is W2 Products, which is a designer and distributor of high-end giftware for the home. Most recent successes include its licenses with Eames and Pantone Universe, specifically targeting cookshop, department store and gift retailers.
Both companies also target garden centres, mail order and online.
The full list of new housewares members for 2012 is Dexter and Sloane, Utensa, Half Moon Bay, Nordicware, Newell Rubbermaid, Europasonic, Paul Hargreaves Associates, Anniversary House, Make, Riedel, Tontarelli, Brewed by hand, Wilton, Swan, Hailo, RKW, Cellardine, Sterck, Proven Products and W2.
Commenting on the continued expansion, William Jones, housewares sector director at BHETA said: “BHETA’s focus on developing export, plus networking with the UK’s top retailers and initiatives like the Meet the Buyers are really driving BHETA forward. What is particularly pleasing is that the new members represent such a wide and diverse cross section of the homewares market.”
