Spring Fair organiser i2i Events Group has confirmed that ‘Kitchen, Dining & Housewares’ will move from its present location in Hall 1 to Hall 9 and the name of the section will change to ‘Table and Kitchen’ at the next Fair, which takes place from February 1 – 5 at The NEC in Birmingham.
This new home is adjacent to The Summerhouse in Hall 8, which includes established housewares brands such as Joseph Joseph and Maxwell & Williams, and links directly with Gift in Hall 5 via a covered walkway.
I2i Events Group explained that the new move ‘will bring strong cross-over buying opportunities, under-scoring the huge importance of kitchen products to general gifting. Buyers will be perfectly poised to discover thousands of innovative new kitchen and tabletop ideas from a stylish and inspirational product range that will include kitchen gadgets, small domestic appliances, cleaning and storage materials, cookware, bakeware, glass, barware, tableware, cutlery and other housewares.’
The organiser added that ‘Table & Kitchen’ is 95% sold out. More than 150 companies will exhibit in the section, including 45 that will be brand new to Spring Fair in 2015, and 25 international suppliers. Some of the key names include Kitchen Craft, CKS, Sabichi, JWP, Rayware Group, Denby Brands, EPE International, Horwood, Grunwerg, Portmeirion, Arthur Price, Creative Tops, RKW, Wilton Brands, Kuhn Rikon, Churchill China, Ethos, Burton McCall, BergHOFF UK and ICTC.
New to Spring Fair in 2015 will be Exclusive Distribution, which is the sole UK distributor for tabletop brands Vista Alegre, Atlantis Crystal and Casa Alegre. Other new exhibitors include Nespresso, FBA International, Polder Housewares, Stow Green, Meld Home (Merry Berry collection), Magicup, HSCL Gourmet Gadgetry and Meyer Group.
