The International Housewares Association (IHA) and The Inspired Home Show have revealed the 31 national winners of the IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) for Excellence in Retailing 2025-2026, representing 30 countries – including first-time winners from Croatia, Indonesia, and Paraguay.
Winners will be celebrated at The Inspired Home Show 2026, taking place March 10–12 in Chicago.
The gia program, launched by IHA in 2000, recognises outstanding home and housewares retailers worldwide for innovation, excellence in store design, marketing, customer service, visual merchandising, and overall business strategy. Since its inception, over 600 retailers from 60 countries have earned gia recognition.

National winners will be honored at a gala dinner on Tuesday, March 10 at The Inspired Home Show, where global gia honorees and winners of the Martin M. Pegler Award for Visual Merchandising and the gia Digital Commerce Award will also be announced. Additionally, national winners will be featured in a dedicated display on the Show floor.
The gia program also includes an educational component: four expert jurors, Wolfgang Gruschwitz, Scott Kohno, Henrik Peter Reisby Nielsen, and Denise Foley, will present a session at the Inspiration Theater on Wednesday, March 11, sharing insights on global retail innovation and trends.
The Inspired Home Show, IHA’s premier home and housewares marketplace, will be held March 10–12 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The event gathers over 2,000 brands and hundreds of thousands of products, offering buyers access to global trends and innovations.
