IHA Centenary Congress deemed ‘a triumph’

It reports that congratulations have been pouring in from delegates, who enjoyed three days of thought-provoking and entertaining business sessions, alongside a range of social events.

Presentations were made by, amongst others, Steamer Trading, HSBC, Greenpeace, Calor Gas, the BRC, Toolbank, Towergate entrepreneur Peter Cullum and delegates from across the globe, and the event was visited by congress patron The Princess Royal.

At the close of the event, which attracted 300 delegates, immediate past-president Chris Patterson said: “IHA has celebrated its first 100 years in style and we all now look forward to Washington in 2011.”
