Indesit has partnered with award-winning cake and biscuit kit company Craft & Crumb to offer consumers a free cake baking kit with the purchase of a selected Indesit oven.
The promotion, which runs until August 30, supports the appliance manufacturer’s #DoItTogether campaign, which encourages families to share the household chores and spend more quality time together
Included in the promotion is the Indesit Aria built-in oven (KFW 3844 H IX) which has a 71 litre capacity and a Best Lighting feature, to give a clearer and brighter view of what’s cooking, so users can keep an eye on their cake as it rises
The free Craft & Crumb Complete Cake Kits are available in a choice of Treasure Island (£29.99) and The Sweetshop (£29.95). Both include disposable baking pans, a cake board and pre-weighed ingredients: a Victoria sponge cake mix, icing sugar, food colouring, decorations and sweets, and fully illustrated step-by-step instructions. The cakes serves about 20 ‘grown-up’ size slices or 30 child’s ‘party-bag’ size slices.
Indesit brand manager Sara Bazeley said: “We hope the Indesit partnership with Craft & Crumb will encourage families to spend more time together in the kitchen. Baking allows children to get hands-on and the kits from Craft & Crumb will hopefully inspire families to get together and bake a cake. Parents can then encourage their children to help with the tidying up, by loading the dishwasher perhaps, which can be a good introduction to sharing the household chores more frequently in the future.”
