Aprons added to the collection:
Handling hot items should always be done with caution. You need to be certain of safety, with adequate protection and a secure grip. The new kitchen textiles range from Judge delivers on all fronts.
2018 sees the introduction of coordinating aprons which, Judge says, ‘offer good coverage for all – and the soft touch fabric isn’t too thick to make you hot and uncomfortable. In addition, there’s a handy pocket, long waist straps, adjustable neck tie – and essentially, it washes well too’.
The aprons are made from quilted cotton, coated in malleable but water-proof silicone. The new range is heat-resistant up to 240°C and allows for a firm, non-slip grip on pots and pans, protecting the wearer against liquid, steam and dry burns.
Note: the textile meets the thermal testing of BS6526 : 1998 Clause 4.3
Lightweight, flexible and rendered in this season’s hottest colours of vibrant red, green and blue, the Judge Kitchen Textiles range comprises a traditional oven mitt in two styles, a double oven glove, tabletop pot holders and the new apron.
