JWP has announced that Milu Baptista will be joining the company as new product development manager, effective immediately.
The housewares distributor said Milu has plenty of experience in the industry, having worked as the commercial manager at the sourcing agency Portugal Direct for over 10 years, where she dealt with buying teams from companies such as Matalan, Lakeland, The Range, Wilko, and JD Williams.
Fluent in four languages, Milu will be bringing her expertise on board to help the Lancashire-based firm liaise with foreign suppliers, develop existing ranges, and bring new products to market, from sourcing items to developing artwork/packaging and in-store merchandising.
