Klean Kanteen named as finalist in the 2020 UK Outdoor Industry Awards

Klean Kanteen’s reusable and plastic-free insulated bottle TKPro has been named as a finalist in the accessories category of the 2020 UK Outdoor Industry Awards.

The shortlisted finalists were revealed at the Outdoor Trade Show (OTS) on July 10 after being selected from 120 products entered by manufacturers and distributors from across the outdoor industry.

Held from July 9 to July 11 at EventCity in Manchester, OTS is billed as the UK’s only large scale outdoor sport and leisure focused trade show.

Garry Woodhouse, sales and marketing director at Whitby & Co – the exclusive distributor of Klean Kanteen in the UK – said: “This award shortlist is such a great achievement and one of many successes that Klean Kanteen has had, such as the ISPO Gold Award we received for the same product earlier this year. We have more projects on the horizon, more happy customers and now we are just counting down towards the 2020 awards!

The next stage in the awards process will be for the public to vote on the 30 finalists to establish the winning product from each category and the Product of the Year. Consumer voting will take place online via the OIA’s website and UKClimbing’s and UKHillwalking’s websites.

The winners will be chosen by a judging panel including retailers, journalists and gear testers from Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports, OIA, Tiso, TGO, Camping, UKHillwalking and Trail.
