Lakeland highlights price promise

Housewares chain Lakeland has introduced a Price Promise initiative.

The company, which operates 69 stores nationwide and online at, said: “For over 50 years, customer service and value for money have been at the very heart of our business… which is why we’ve introduced our Price Promise.

“We actively monitor the branded products of all our UK high street and online competitors to ensure that our price is the same and, in most cases, better. However, if you find an identical branded item at a lower price with another retailer, our Price Promise means that we’ll match the price for you. Whilst we are unable to match sale or clearance priced products, we will price match items that are included in other retailer’s price promotions or events.”

The branded product has to be exactly the same make and model and must be in stock and available to be purchased in-store or sent that day. Lakeland we will not price match branded products retrospectively; its Price Promise only applies at the time of purchase. The price to be matched must include all additional costs such as delivery charges and it will only price match identical items sold in original packaging. It won’t price match refurbished or second hand items.
