Meg Hawkins Art has just signed its first FMCG and homeware license, at the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival.
Meg Hawkins is an award winning British watercolour artist responsible for a range of greetings cards and prints, who is now expanding into kitchenware, lampshades, cushions, clothing, splashbacks and fabrics featuring her original artwork.
My Gifts Trade will reproduce a range of Meg’s pieces of homeware and giftware, which will launch in February 2018.
Meg said: “This takes my art to a whole new audience. I’m excited to be working with My Gifts Trade, as they have such a strong heritage and work with a number of leading brands.”
My Gifts Trade collaborates with UK-based designers to create ranges of home accessories and gifts that are made in Britain where possible.
New collections include the Sara Miller London range of luxury textiles and silk gift items that reflect her love of print and pattern, the National Gallery collection of mugs and trays, textiles & toiletries and Royal Stafford Pineapple, Ocean Blue and Floral Weave tableware ranges.
The Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival is a four-day trade event in Harrogate that ends today (Wednesday July 19).
