Asda is opening five more Asda Living outlets this year as part of an expansion programme that will create over 7,000 new jobs.

Two of the new Asda Living stores, which sell only non-food products, will be in Bradford and Wednesbury, with the other locations to be confirmed later this year.
The supermarket is also opening nine new food stores and extending 15 existing stores. In addition, the home shopping business, asda.com, is being expanded. More jobs will come through organic growth.
In total, Asda willl create 580,000sq ft of new store space in 2009.
