New BHETA initiative will help would-be exporters

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association is launching the first of what is to become a series of events aimed at helping members develop their export business.

New BHETA initiative will help would-be exporters

The Export Forum will have its first session on February 29 at BHETA’s headquarters in Birmingham. The idea follows on from the enthusiastic reception given to the idea at the last BHETA members’ meeting, plus the Meetbuyersspringfair initiative at this week’s Spring Fair, which also focuses on meeting overseas buyers.

BHETA will also use the inaugural session of the Export Forum to launch a dedicated export page on its website.

Speakers at the Export Forum events will include experts from UKT&I and specialists in sourcing services and meeting compliance issues. It will also feature case studies from BHETA members already trading overseas successfully.

Full details of the February meeting’s agenda will be published on the BHETA website nearer the time.

Meanwhile, BHETA says it has received another boost in membership since the start of 2012. Eight new companies have signed up so far, including Dexter and Sloane, Utensa, Half Moon Bay, Nordicware, Newell Rubbermaid and Paul Hargreaves Associates.
