New glassware from Lesser & Pavey

A new range of glasses was unveiled by Lesser & Pavey at the Spring Fair.

The glassware, which features detailed artwork and added texture, is designed by artist Lynsey Johnstone whose early years were spent living in the rural settings of Dumfries and Galloway.

The Scottish coastal scenery with views of rolling hills and glens, along with livestock and wildlife, all influence her art – but the beauty and intense colours of her grandmother’s garden reflect most in her art today.

She mainly uses acrylics with other mixed media. The texture helps to create depth to the landscape and ‘flicking paint’ creates the chaos of wild grass and flowers – described as ‘a picturesque pandemonium’, as can be seen in this glassware range.
