New issue of Housewares – out now!

New July/August issue of Housewares out now – read here!

The Housewares team was delighted to hold the ceremony and gala luncheon for the Housewares Awards at the start of July – the first Housewares Awards since 2020. You can take a look at the pics from the event and see the full list of winners from pages 8 to 12. Industry folks had a great time celebrating at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel on a lovely sunny day, and for me personally it was a great way to catch up with clients in a more informal setting. Congratulations to all the winners, and a particular well done to Dinghams who scooped up not one, but two retail awards!

Elsewhere in this issue, you can read our write up of Exclusively, which includes a Q&A with Will Jones discussing the show just passed and the show to come. Read more on page 16. On page 19, meanwhile, we take a look at what the upcoming edition of Autumn Fair has to offer, from educational sessions to networking – and, of course, new products. Go to page 19 to read our preview.

This issue saw us take a look at the latest trends and launches in a number of growing and well-established product categories – including storageware, woodware, food prep, knives, bakeware and preserving. As an avid preserver and lover of pickles myself, I always look forward to the bounty brought by the end of summer. With reducing food waste and embracing a slower pace of life a growing priority for many consumers, investing in preserving and pickling kit is an obvious next step.

Elsewhere you’ll find, as always, our regular news, views and product pages, showcasing the latest from market-leading housewares brands across the sector.

Enjoy the issue!

Bryony Andrews, editor.
