As the prime baking season approaches, KitchenCraft has launched an initiative to enthuse the nation to ‘Get Baking’ with its Paul Hollywood Collection.
In a joint promotion with Premier Foods – another of the celebrity baker’s licences – the housewares supplier has matched some of its Paul Hollywood bakeware with some of Premier Food’s most successful Paul Hollywood baking mixes.
Premier Foods’ Paul Hollywood range of artisan-inspired mixes aims to give consumers the chance to create rustic-style bakes at home. The 12 sweet, savoury and bread mixes, which are developed to Paul’s recipes, are designed to be easy to follow, with step-by-step guides, hint and tips.
KitchenCraft marketing director Claire Budgen explained that under terms of the offer, when customers buy a cake tin, they will receive one mix free, “so they can purchase everything to have a go and ‘Get Baking’”.
The pairings include a brownie pan with a Belgian Chocolate Brownie Mix; a 20cm springform cake tin with a Garlic & Herb Tear ‘n’ Share Bread Mix; a baking tray with a Belgian Chocolate Cookie Mix, and a 23cm springform cake tin with a Lemon & Lime Zesty Sponge Cake Mix.
The promotion runs from October 1 to December 31 and will be supported by window posters and in-store showcards. There is no limit to the number of purchases for consumers or trade customers.
The Paul Hollywood Collection from KitchenCraft offers a host of kit for baking, including high performance bakeware in key shapes and sizes; a dual-read oven thermometer with temperatures zones for bread, enriched dough, meringue and pastry; a rolling pin with metric and imperial measurement marks; proving baskets; dough stamps and cutters; a cooling rack; mixing bowl; pie funnel; scales; measuring cups and spoons; and enamel pie dishes.
