Obituary: Brian Pressman

Brian Pressman passed away peacefully on December 12 after a long illness.

He was involved in the housewares industry for many years. He owned Snowline Housewares before selling it to the Cowan family, who renamed it David Mason Design. He also worked at Irish cutlery brand Newbridge Silverware and latterly was a self-employed consultant, specialising in housewares companies.

A memorial service will be held at Chesterfield & District Crematorium in Brimington on December 28 at 1:50pm. The address of the Chesterfield & District Crematorium is: Chesterfield Road, Brimington, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S43 1AU. Everyone is welcome to attend

Readers have asked about sending flowers to the service or making a donation in his memory. His family have advised that a donation is preferred to Ashgate Hospice, which may be sent to Alfred Dunham and Sons Funeral Services, 56 Snapehill Lane, Dronfield, Derbyshire S18 2GL.

Brian will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by the housewares community.
