One day to go until Exclusively Housewares opens

The annual trade exhibition is attended by key housewares buyers from across the UK, and across all types of retail channels, including the leading independent cookshops, high street, grocery, out-of-town and department stores, along with garden centres, e-commerce sites and TV and catalogue retailers.

They will view the products of more than 100 exhibitors , including four new names for 2014: KitchenAid, Melitta, Root7 and Smart Worldwide. Three companies are also set to make a return to Exclusively Housewares. The trio coming back to the show after a break are: Fiskars, OXO and SodaStream.

This year the show organiser Brooke House Exhibitions has organised two short presentations. Both take place on Wednesday morning. Market research company Gfk starts at 9.30am, with trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus following at 10am. Attendance is free of charge. The presentations will take place in a room next door to the show press office on the Gallery.

GfK will bring the audience up to date on how the housewares market is performing while Scarlet Opus will identify future trends for the housewares sector and help retailers to anticipate what customers will be looking for in the coming months.

The show provides a free cloakroom service, free hot and cold refreshments throughout the day, including lunch, and a free copy of the show catalogue. The show opening times on both days are 9am to 5.30pm, and lunch is served between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
