Tailored exclusively for the housewares industry, this prestigious annual occasion is organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net.

The event takes place on April 22 at the Selsdon Park at Croydon in Surrey and has already attracted a host of retailers and suppliers – and some very big celebrity names.

The theme of the conference, which will be hosted by Will Jones, housewares enhancement sector director of BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association), is ‘Innovation’ – and we have specifically selected speakers for their knowledge and experience of the housewares industry, who can share their success stories, practical solutions and winning strategies with delegates.

The prestigious line-up includes:

*Yvonne Stinson, trading manager for home at Argos

*Design guru Sebastian Conran

*Jeffrey Siegel, ceo of Lifetime Brands, Inc.

*Shanker Patel, ceo of housewares chain Lords of Notting Hill

*Bruce Crane, co-owner of award-winning Loose’s Cookshop in Norwich and founder of housewares distributor TICCuk Ltd

*Guy Cattell, founder of the retail consultancy GC2Retail Solutions Ltd and formerly category buying director for Morrisons across home and leisure

*Tom Gill of Creative Media Solutions, a digital media company that specialises in housewares clients

*Carol Paris, a garden centre specialist who is director general of the HTA (Horticultural Trades Association);

*Celebrity chef Ken Hom has also agreed to attend the event.

The Conference begins at 9.45am with the chairman’s welcoming address and closes at 4.15pm. Full details of the agenda are available at www.housewaresconference.co.uk/agenda/

Taking place in the evening, the Housewares Innovation Awards ceremony will reward the best housewares products and best housewares retailers. The evening will be hosted by actress and bestselling cookbook author Lisa Faulkner (a former winner of Celebrity MasterChef). And Ken Hom will be presenting the Awards to the lucky winners.

Attend both events to maximise your time, network with your peers and hear the latest news from the housewares industry.
