Fenwick will unveil its ‘new store concept’ in Bracknell on September 7.
The 80,000sq ft store will open in the new Lexicon development: a 1 million sq ft shopping and leisure destination in the pedestrianised centre of the Berkshire town. The new store will become one of the Lexicon’s flagships alongside Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.
Fenwick said the store will house fashion and beauty brands, plus a denim studio, shoe emporium and two new restaurants – Mediterranean restaurant Fuego and bakery Mason & Rye – as well as a new homeware department and new toy department.
In 2001 Fenwick acquired the Bentalls group of stores and retains the branches in Kingston-upon-Thames in Surrey and Bracknell.
The current Fenwick store in Bracknell will continue to operate as Bentalls Bracknell until the retailer transitions to the new site.
